ok. I see that I have had some visitors. That's cool. But with sincerest sternness, GUYS, I'M NOT GAY!. I just want to meet people who can help guide andor just give advise about nudist life.Sure I have my own thoughts on what's proper and what's not.But again, there're are those of you whom have been at this longer than I.
There is a reason why a tribe has more than one elder. To learn from many experiences is a greater gift than listening and living by those of one.
Currently my greatest difficulty is how do I verbalize to my children that seeing dad is no differant than seeing mom.I do not parade around the house in the buf any more, yet I don't hide from them when in the shower or changing in my room.I tell them it is normal and ok.I also explain to them that (now this is true)I was the first to hold them at birth after the doctor.Yes, even before thier bio. mom.She didn't want to hold them. How sad is that. That's another story. If you want to here about it let me know.
Anyway, any advice I can get from you "elders"out there would be
listened to and appreciated. Thanks for reading and thank you if you reply. chow for now.

Without being Homophonic, We are a Straight Couple but have friends that are Gay both male and Female. No problem with this, as we are naturists in the traditional sense and not seeking sex with others as the opportunity arises. We have had approaches from ALL sexual preferences, they all get the same answer 'No Thanks'.

What strikes us is the number of Gays and Bi's especially Males that are members Naturist and Nudist web sites. This is much the same in the UK and on world wide sites. This can be as high as 60% of new members on supposedly 'Traditional Naturist sites'.

Does this mean that people in those sexual preferences are more likely to become nudists than the 'straights', or is there some other reason for this proportion that we are missing?

I'd add that most kids in England at least get quite well taught to accept diversity at school. They learn that it's wrong to judge people on their looks and beliefs. Naturism to me is just another part of my set of beliefs. So why should they treat me differently. Worked with my two when I explained to them at aged 9 and 13. They don't have the confidence to go nude themselves yet, but they probably will in time.

Hope that helps.

Wish we could help ya with showing children the joy of nudism, but we never raised any. To put a few cents in though, believe it is all about communication and acceptance. Be kind and gentle for the first impressions will last a long time. Try to see from their point of view. Bravo and agree with Brian and Susan.........

Looking at other males and even females!

Here on our Official Naturist Beaches in North Norfolk, UK, it is not the 'general looking' at the folks around that bothers us. It is the 'Meercats' that come closer and closer. the fellas with binoculars and cameras and of course those fellas that parade up and down a few yards in front of you, often playing with themselves.
Then of course there are those who come for a chat and 2 minites later, you find out they are seeking sex with either you or your lady, or even both.

No wonder folks are wary.

All people do it differently. It also depends on culture, background and the pressures of life on each of us as individuals.

The key thing seems to be take it 'Gently' amd even then you will get 'wrong' on some ocassions. Remember for children, impressions made when they are young, during their formative years are likely to remain with them for the rest of their lives.

It is quite likely that you will gets lots of advice on your 'problem', who is to say which 'Elder' is totally Right or Wrong'.

Good luck.
